Soft or Discretionary Hyphen

A special coded hyphen that is placed in a specific place in the word so that if the word falls at the end of a line, it will be hyphenated where the coded hyphen was placed. If the flow of
the text changes for some reason, and the word does not have to be hyphenated, the hyphen will automatically not be used.
