Task List
FrontPage allows you to keep a list of the various tasks that are required
to complete your Web site. You may have a large site with several people working
on it at the same time and it may get confusing to try and keep track of all
of the things that need to be accomplished. Using the Task List allows you
to record unfinished or needed tasks as they arise. This can save time at
the end of the Web development because you will find fewer problems with your
site when you are checking it before the site is available to the World Wide
Web.
To add a task to your list, select Edit on the top Menu bar, then Task at
the bottom of the drop down menu, then Add Task. The New Task window will
appear where you can give the task a name, assign the task to whomever will
eventually be working on it, describe what is involved with the task, and
give it a priority ranking of low, medium, or high. When you click OK, the
task will get added to your list.
If you want to view your task list, select View on the top menu bar and then
Tasks. You will be able to see all of the tasks that are listed and their
progress. You can right click on any task to bring up a shortcut menu in which
you can edit a particular task, indicate that you have started the task, mark
the task as completed, or delete the task.
